There was entertainment and dance from a troupe from Belgium… all Indian moves and songs… they were enchanting and gifted!
Amitabh Bachchan

Their dancing, costumes and backdrops were stylish. I'm impressed how they have embraced the Indian dance styles and mixed them with contemporary movement with great ease. I loved their energy.

The Bollylicious approach to Indian dance is novel. Despite the fact that the dancers are all from Belgium, their respect for Indian culture makes them commit even more to succeed. They aim to be as original as possible, often giving an innovative turn to the Indian classical dances.
Because the dancers were not Indian and made this huge effort to bridge the gap with learning and performing our dances, the audience at Neemrana Fort Palace appreciated it greatly. I think it was a long time since a dance performance at Neemrana had got a standing ovation.
Aman Nath ji,
Indian writer, hotelier, and architectural restorer. Co-founder and co-chairman of the Neemrana Hotels chain
Bollylicious is adept at combining the folk style with the classical system and present the fair in a contemporary style. I am particularly happy because the Belgian dancers are not only keen on Indian style and customs but they indirectly suggest that the youngsters in India should look at Indian dances with passion and love and get into it in some way to keep the tradition of the great Indian dance alive and throbbing …”
Suresh Heblikar,
Filmmaker and director
In front of a select audience of Indian bureaucrats and businessmen, as well as Belgian nationals and diplomats from EU member States, Bollylicious presented a fast-paced dance show of utmost quality, based on multiple Indian dance styles. The result is a mesmerising show of lights, colors and energy based on India's many cultures and philosophies, with the injection of Belgian creativity. As such Bollylicious is one of Belgium's most successful cultural initiatives, and is able to bridge Belgian and Indian cultures, while capturing the current zeitgeist.

Today I saw a beautiful performance of Bollylicious in Den Bosch. I was very impressed. The choreos are original and comic. The dancers are well trained professionals. The costumes are beautiful. The performance was varied: Kathak, ghoomar, Salsa, modern dance.
Oh Paalanhare touched me enormously. They should perform more often in the Netherlands. Highly recommended!
